in a relationship, it is seldom equal -- in fact, never equal -- in terms of the amount of love, effort, time, affection, and other sacrifices, that both parties put in.
it should not be made to be equal, cos when it is forced, it is seldom received in goodness. for example, you give this much freedom to your other half, u would expect your other half to give that amount back. but everyone have their own world views and past experiences; they are their own being. it should not be the same input, equals the same output. it really depends on the other half; you may give 80% freedom, but your other half may only give 40%, and u can't complain that its not fair. why? cos the 40%, is on your scale. maybe to your other half, that amount is 80% on their own scale. so we can't always expect same treatment or same amount of sacrifices. it should be given willingly, and accepted readily, whatever the amount. if it does not make you happy, then you are mismatched.

shu came over to chit chat and drink.. i met her downstairs, with yen accompanying me. then he went up after saying hi to shu and left me and her together to chit chat.
it was quiet a little and we both just watched as she lit up her cigarette. it just wasnt as normal as before. until later on when i said something abt bran and his newest acquisition, that was when shu got excited.
so we sat down at one of the benches under the void deck and talked.. abt current bfs and ex-es. and we had plenty to say, so much so that yen came down and was going to go out, that we had to move upstairs (my place) to carry on with our conversation.
we did carry on bitching, and finished two bottles of wihte wine at the same time. it wasnt so weird after that.. we became quite comfortable with talking abt bran. and we even compared how we were with him etc..
haha but anyway we both concluded that we're both happy now and that bran is still our friend and part of us, albeit in a different way. but we both still love him as we love our sisters/cousins.

well lets just say i finally got things sorted out. haha and yen's a major part of my life now. its so ...uplifting (hahah the word's weird but it fits) being with him! now we cook and clean and just do "stuff" together, its really nice. and im trying to get him to try online shopping.. hahaha he's going to bust his credit limits. good luck yen!
i swear im totally trying to sort things out. as much as possible and get myself straightened out asap. and my sis' being a total bitch abt the entire affair (yen and me being home), but thats what i love about her. hahaha thanks bitch.

such a disturbing dream.. i really thought it was real. like i was living in its reality. i was extremely disturbed and devastated.
both of them agreed never to see me again. they just cant let go. i actually remember saying "i feel like i just got punk'd." and i was crying and smiling at my capacity to try and crack a joke at that point in time. it was horrid, horrid.
"i can't ever imagine losing you," he said to her, and they shared the most loving but vindictive kiss i've ever seen or experienced.
i guess this just shows the extent of my insecurities. its freakin me out.

went to celebrate ah wei's bday on sunday.. 10 bottles of martell at iRumors @ clarke quay. luckily for me, i went pretty late. hehe yen was almost gone by then.. thank goodness he sobered up afterwards. but still, not that bad seeing the others there (anson n wing n kok wei). been a while now..
ah wei was too drunk for any proper photo with him by the time i arrived.. lol
